# Drawing for my twin sister. Author: tusstuss This is a drawing I made for my twin sister. I was having some trouble painting the legs and the face, and mabye the ear should have been smaller... I think it's really hard drawing in this particular my little pony style. ^^ It looks so simple but it's actually pretty hard. So thumbs up for this one! ## Comment 7 Author: tusstuss #5 Thank you! :D In paint, its hard to do soft shades, witch i prefer when drawing. :P Im going to edit the drawing in gimp when I get my own computer back again. ## Comment 8 Author: Odd I think you did a nice job! I don't really agree with #3 Nothing looks majorly out of scale, and the few things that do aren't that noticeable since it's in a cartoony style. There aren't really any rules saying how big or small things are allowed to be on a body (just look at giraffes) aslong as what you draw on the left side is consistent with what you draw on the right side, it can't look wrong! I think this tutorial [here](http://www.deviantart.com/art/UNDERSTANDING-ANATOMY-part-I-220251993 "here") explains that really nicely, so if you're interested I'd recommend checking that out. The way you drew it is just your own style, I just think you're missing some minor detailing to make it all float together more smoothly. I like the colours you used aswell, they compliment eachother very well and there's a soft balance between them so your eyes aren't forcibly drawn to just one of it. The only criticism I can think of right now is that the hind leg, farthest away from us, is somewhat malplaced. It looks kinda like it's coming out from underneath the horse. The reason it's doing that is because it's not in line with the front leg on the same side and you have put the joint too far down. If you're drawing something with four legs standing on a flat surfance, imagine there's a line connecting the two legs on the same side by the paws/hooves. Unless one hoof is raised, or pointed somewhere in a pose, it's always connected to that straight line. You can angle it depending on the viewpoint and you can move the hooves away from it to change the pose, but if you want the legs to look aligned they have to follow the path of that straight line. The wings are a bit wrong aswell, but I'm guessing you're going for the My Little Pony look? They draw their wings a bit strange sometimes, so I wont give any criticism on that unless you want me to. I might actually have given too much criticism already, since you didn't actually put it under a "criticism" thread. So I'm sorry if I overstepped some boundaries. I actually got a B in english this year! :D As I said, I where having some trouble painting the legs, I have always been having trouble whit four-legged animals. And yes, im going for the MLP style. I dident choose the colors, my sister did.
